Eat foods which are dry in nature like corn, chana, besan and oats. Eat fruits containing vitamin C like amla and citrus fruits. And avoid having crash diets.

Drinking an adequate amount of water is important for proper hair growth as water keeps the hair hydrated. Sufficient amount of water helps in sustaining the cell health and reproduction. Water makes our hair supple and shiny.

Oiling the hairs should be done on a adequate amount as excess oil can lead to dandruff formation and can even worsen the existing dandruff problem.

Depending on your hair type, take one part avocado oil, castor oil and olive oil in a bowl. Mix all of this oil together. Make enough of this oil mixture so that it last for roughly thirty days because it really changes the hair texture and helps to grow hair back within few days.

Lavender oil- it is the most popular oil after coconut oil for hair growth. It has been proved that applying lavender-oil on hair regularly shows significant result in the hair growth. Use normally like coconut oil or massage it for 5-10 minutes before shampoo.

Try this homemade pre-hair wash therapy- which will require 2 tablespoon each of olive oil, almond oil, jojoba oil, honey and 5 drops of rosemary essential oil. Heat the olive oil, almond oil and jojoba oil and the honey in a pan and when cool, add the remaining rosemary essential oil. Massage this warm mixture into your hair and leave it for 30minutes covering your hairs with a help of a shower cap. Wash your hairs with a mild shampoo.
